Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking to hire Mid-Level or Senior Numerical Control Programmer to support our 2nd shift fabrication team located in Auburn, WA.  Selected candidates will provide numerical control, machining and programming technical expertise. They will create, verify and revise Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled multi-axis machines required to manufacture aerospace components.

The Ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment and be comfortable handling a product line from Engineering concept, NC programming, troubleshooting and final execution on the shop floor.

This is a 2nd shift position in Auburn, WA. Typical schedule is 12pm-8:30pm PST (this is flexible with a start time anywhere from 12-2pm)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical experience to the Auburn Fabrication Team
  • Plans, creates, verifies, and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled machinery (primarily metals machining)
  • Works under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3 or more years NC programming experience
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift

Preferred qualifications:

  • CATIA V5 NC Programming
  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
