The Boeing Company – Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) is looking for an AssociateFinancial Analyst (Level 2) and an Experienced Financial Analyst (Level 3) based out of Seal Beach, California. The selected candidates will be required to work onsite 4 out of 5 days a week.

This role will primarily support the BCA Customer Support Organization by partnering with leadership and key stakeholders to provide actionable financial insight through performance analysis, forecasting, budget management, opportunity and risk analysis, and analytics and reporting.

This position offers relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages resource plans with executive business partners in compliance with Long Range Business Plan; includes employment, non-labor dollars, overhead, offloads and work placement

  • Provide support in identifying opportunities and risks related to Customer Support operations, conducting variance analysis on a weekly and monthly basis

  • Prepare and present monthly Business Plan Review (BPR); provide insight into operational and financial performance to guide decision making

  • Collaborate with engineering and other customer interfacing teams to ensure that airline customers receive timely and effective support for their fleet operations

  • Offer additional finance support as needed to enhance the effectiveness of the Customer Support team

  • Drives continuous process improvements in budget development, analytics, and financial reporting to strengthen partnership with Customer Support leadership

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field

  • 1+ years of experience in finance

  • 1+ years of experience building positive relationships with business partners

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operation, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

  • 3+ years of experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and opportunity/risk management

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings

  • Experience with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations
