The Boeing company is currently looking for a Logistics Information Systems Specialist (Mid-Level or Lead) to join the team based in Huntington Beach, CA.

Logistics support activities include all activities that are required to support an Operations and Maintenance contract for a fielded system including helping identify and resolve customer supply support system inventory discrepancies. The logistics support person investigates total system demand management, replenishment and electronic data systems, monitors logistics system performance, solicits customer feedback and takes appropriate action to improve system operation and customer satisfaction. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring depot & labs conform with Boeing lab excellence standards

  • Managing the stockroom

  • Inventory management using appropriate software tools and systems

  • Arranging shipping and receiving equipment with various groups including commercial shippers like FedEx, UPS, USPS as well as customer groups

  • Must be able to lift and move equipment within the parameters of the Boeing safety requirements

  • Leverage knowledge of government property and security processes to handle and manage government property

  • Instill FOD awareness in repair and stock areas

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external customers, including Program Managers and engineers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree with typically 3 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master’s degree plus 1 year of related experience, or 7 years of related experience, etc.)

  • This position requires an Active U.S Top Secret/SCI that is accepted by the customer

  • Ability to lift 35 pounds or more throughout the work shift

  • Experience adhering to safety and quality processes and procedures

  • Proficiency in using computer-based inventory management systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong Attention to Detail and Quality Assurance

  • Strong Customer Focus and Commitment to Continuous Learning

  • Level 4: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $83,300.00 - $112,700.00

Summary pay range for Lead (Level 4): $104,550.00 - $141,450.00
