The Boeing Company is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer (Manufacturing Engineer-General) in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Boeing Defense, Space & Security’s main focal for manufacturing engineering aspects of full-size determinant assembly (FSDA).
  • Coordinate with other FSDA experts and drive improvements to the system.
  • Engage, mentor, and ensure the success of new FSDA applications.
  • Collaborate with counterparts at the Enterprise level to secure a “one Boeing” FSDA approach.
  • Lead education and training efforts related to FSDA’s manufacturing engineering aspects.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
  • 10 years of previous experience as a Lead Manufacturing Engineer in aerospace structures.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong experience with the following: full sized determinant assembly, determinant assembly, assembly tooling, production support, GD&T.
