Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager – Paint Operations (level K) to support STL Paint Operations Team in Berkeley, MO!

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple paint manufacturing areas

• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

• Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

• Oversight and Ownership to Zero injury and First Time Quality culture

• Manage, inspire, develop and motivate employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. 

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A Final U.S. secret clearance Prestart is required OR An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years’ experience Painting Experience in one or more of the following specialties: Aerospace or Automotive Paint Application, Paints & Coatings, Inorganic Chemical Processes, Environmental Health and Safety, or Sealants

• Leadership experience in a formal or informal capacity

• Experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in relevant field

• Lean Six Sigma experience
