Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Quality Test Specialist to join the 737-program based out of Seattle, Washington.

Our teams are currently hiring for Associate and Experienced NDT Quality Test Specialist.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment

  • Develops procedures and processes

  • Performs tests or inspections and collects data

  • Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations

  • Provides feedback on adverse trends

  • Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products

  • Conducts certification preparation training

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)

  • Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and weekends if necessary

  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time

  • Capable of working in confined spaces and fit through a 10X18 oval opening

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Current or prior certification from American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Compliant Level 2 or 3 Ultrasonic Inspection and Eddy Current Inspection, and/or equivalent of 800 hours of documented On the Job Training and 80 hours of compliant classroom training

  • Associate’s degree or higher, a Technical certificate or degree, or 2 or more years of equivalent technical experience

Summary pay range (Level 3): $89,000 - $112,000
