In this role you will: 

  • Develop, integrate and document structural and interior (payloads) system requirements to establish the system design. 

  • Perform, integrate analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. 

  • Supervise supplier development, test and production activities and coordinate with the supplier to optimize the design and integration to achieve program goals. 

  • Develop new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort. 

  • Collaborate closely with Office of Airworthiness and regulatory authorities to ensure the aircraft cabin is delivered in the correct condition and quality.

What you bring to the table: 

 

Basic qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Avionics, Aerospace, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering) or higher degreein engineering 

  • 10+ years of experience in Aerospace industry, including design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experience 

 

Additionally preferred skills: 

 

  • Experience:You have 5+ years of experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) in an EASA Design Organization or as an engineering Unit Member (e-UM)in an FAA Design Organizationwith terms of approval relevant to interior (payloads)discipline. 

  • Knowledge: You can demonstrate experience with aircraft interior design/modification programs with a high level of attention to detail. You have good knowledge ofairworthiness requirements, e.g. CS/FAR 25, ETSO/TSO. 

  • Collaboration: You have 5+ years of experience in leading complex projects(development and execution of schedule milestones, financial assessments, resource assessments, risk and/or issues management, etc.) including influencing team members and stakeholders (suppliers, customers, solution providers) involved and are willing to help develop, mentor and coach less experienced staff.  

  • Tools: You can demonstrateexpertise with navigating OEM data systems for specifications and standards and have worked with our most important tools: Catia V5 / V6, ENOVIA, IVT, AutoCAD. 

  • Personality: You are a principled, reliable professional who values integrity, safety and accountability, always striving for the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct. Inclusive and collaborative by nature, you communicate transparently, respect diverse perspectives and take ownership to drive results the right way.
