SME Radio Frequency Engineer - Mid Level

 

Why This is an Exciting Role:

As a SME Radio Frequency Engineer - Mid Level at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will be required to:

  • Perform RF assembly of components, subassemblies, and test fixtures using coax and waveguide connections, and precision mechanical integration.
  • Assist in the testing, tuning, and validation of RF circuits, amplifiers, filters, and antennas.
  • Conduct measurements using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
  • Support senior engineers in the design and prototyping of RF systems
  • Prepare documentation, including test results, assembly procedures, and calibration data.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of RF performance issues.
  • Maintain lab organization, safety, and equipment calibration records.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:  

Required Education and Years of Experience: 

  • Three (3) years of experience as an Rf Assembler in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration/Networking, Electronics, or related discipline from an accredited college
  • Three (3) years of additional Rf Assember experience may be substituted for a Associate’s degree

Required Qualifications: ​

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Experience conducting measurements using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
  • Experience with the testing, tuning, and validation of RF circuits, amplifiers, filters, and antennas.

Telework/Remote Availability: No telework approved at this time.

Contingent Upon Program Reward

The position is contingent upon program award.

 

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$70,500 - $83,000
