Description

You will work closely with Global Purchasing Catergory leaders /TEAM  to 
-Prepare enquiry packages, analyze & track the base of potential suppliers for the responsible area
-Build up the part family strategy for the responsible part family/area and implemented accordingly
-Support the global category manager to finalize the global category strategy
-Execute & lead commercial discussions and inspect the technical and commercial plausibility of offers
-Comprehend & analyze the cost elements and the cost drivers
-Manage the relevant documentation to propose a supplier for a project
-Arrange the documentation to introduce new suppliers / suppliers of new parts in the supply chain
-Manage supplier capacity and ensure the plant delivery
-Handle the annual negotiations independently
-Join "Point leader" Team worked for hot topics (e.g. digitilization etc)

Qualifications

-Minimum 3-4 year experience as buyer preferably in the automotive industry
-Fluent English language bot written and spoken, German language skills will be a plus
-Be familiar with automotive related procedures (PPAP, several stages of sampling, release
process…)
-Knowledge of Q system ISO/TS 16949 is highly valued
-Willingness to frequent travels (in China and possible AP), about 50%
-Good team spirit
