Description

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of light-duty electric vehicle drive axle gearbox systems.
• Develop detailed project timelines and roadmaps to ensure timely completion of R&D tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to select, integrate, and define technical specifications for key components such as motors and reducers.
• Perform performance simulation tests on the drive axle gearbox system design and adjust the design based on test results.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal resources to ensure project progress according to schedule.
• Write detailed technical documentation including design reports, testing records, and outcome reports.
• Participate in vehicle assembly tuning work to ensure compatibility of the drive axle gearbox system with other systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Design, or related fields; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 3-5 years of industry experience in electric vehicles, particularly in R&D for light-duty EV drive systems.
• Proficient knowledge and understanding of motor technology, power electronics, and control principles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments both internally and externally.
• Familiarity with CAD design software Cero and CAE tools for simulation analysis.
• Innovative problem-solving capabilities and resourcefulness in addressing challenges during the development process
