Description

Responsible
-Define the reliability plan for development projects and RPP projects
-Support the design of new products with consultation and tests to ensures the requested reliability.
-Support negotiation and coordination with the customer concerning reliability requests

The included main tasks are:
• first determination of reliability requirements of the product
• Supports system structuring and system partitioning
• Determination of foreseeable reliability problems and supports PE focus area analysis
• Determination of DfR-plan with failure probability and failure criteria
• Description cause effect relationship sequence and derives failure mechanisms
• Determination of stress on design elements (inner load)
• Reunion of loads / stress capacities for relevant failures
• Reliability prognosis for chosen concepts (iteration and determination)
• Support of elaboration of design concerning reliability
• After iteration definition of verification and validation plan and as well Q/Z-Plan for the product in DfR-plan
• Determination of interaction of design elements in the next higher system

Qualifications

Education: Master degree in mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering, material engineering, or similar
Working experience: 3+ years with automotive product development
-Good analytic skill, tools and focus on details, and logic thinking ability
-Good problem-solving capability
-Fluent in both oral and written English
-Great resilience towards pressure, setbacks
-Able to communicate technical topics effectively and efficiently with cross-level and to people with different background
