Job Summary

• Development and improvement of assembly/testing technology for new RBCD products and new applications:
  • Screwing,
  • Press-in,
  • Roll to Roll,
  • Function testing process
  • Leakage testing
  • Conditioning Testing

• New know-how and knowledge build-up for assembly/testing processes.
• Active knowledge transfer and coaching of colleagues and new employees.
• Series production support for cost reduction, quality improvement and technological problem solving projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Actively take the lead of complex manufacturing process development/optimization projects in RBCD
• Best RBCD expert on his/her technology
• Continuous build-up and renewal of process specialist knowledge
• Knowledge transfer within RBCD (process experts, manufacturing engineers), coaching of newcomers
• Develop and carry out process trainings including the related training material
• Building-up and sustain a robust network to local and oversea IPN partners in manufacturing, technology development and product development departments for continuous improvement of his/her technology
• Provide robust, capable and cost competitive manufacturing technology for new RBCD products before SOP
• Definition of  standard trial plans, process parameters and release procedures
• Set-up and maintain process data sheets for his/her technology
• Active proposal and pursuit of improvement activities for output increase, cycle time and scrap reduction, quality improvement and process capability enhancement, in particular system CIP projects
• Independent problem solving; knowledge and application of standardized problem solving methods
• Actively share knowledge and information as team player
• Well-structured communication

Qualifications

Educational:

• Master degree in electrical/mechanical engineering

Language:

• Very good English skills in oral communication as well as reading/writing
• German language skills helpful, but not mandatory

    Job Relevant Knowledge and Experience

• 5 years working experience and specialist knowledge in the area of assembly and testing technology.
• Experiences with program e.g: Python/C++/C#, NI LabVIEW / teststand,
• Basic knowledge on electric powertrain system and components is a plus
• Sound understanding of Bosch quality methods  (e.g. problem solving, Shainin)
• Very good analytical skills
• Competent project management skills
• Strong technical influence skill in manufacture area.
