Description

Take responsibility:

• Be responsible for the holistic methodical and cost-structure analysis of mechanical components (plastic, aluminum die casting, stamped, deep drawn, bent parts).
• Identify and evaluate potential savings through changes to design, specification or manufacturing process with reference to intensive technology and supplier scouting.
• Work actively during whole product life cycle and determine target costs for purchased parts

Help shape the future:

• Independently determine target costs including shadow calculations. Especially for the early phases of the product development process
• Independently develop alternative solutions as well as the best possible process and product costs independently of the plant and supplier.
• Derive recommendations for action and represent these to the management, plant and purchasing, also in an international environment.

Holistic implementation:

• Perform cost analysis using the existing knowledge base on manufacturing and material costs
• be responsible for expanding and updating it with regard to new technologies and innovations.

Communicate in a network:

• Work on a project basis in interdisciplinary teams (including research and development, manufacturing, purchasing, controlling) and also represent costing results across business units.

Live cooperation:

• Represent the results of cost analyses when sourcing and negotiating prices with suppliers,

Qualifications

• Education: bachelor's/ master's degree in mathematics, engineering preferred;
• Working Experience: In the field of development and/or manufacturing of mechanical components as well as in cooperation with purchasing and supplier companies.
• Knowledge & Skills: Personality: Responsible, highly cost-conscious, strong powers of persuasion and assertiveness
• Work style: Extremely goal-oriented, self-initiated and analytical
• Know-how: Profound technology knowledge in the field of mechanical component
• Language: Chinese, English fluent both in written and oral
