Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Expert to join our team and drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions. As an AI Expert, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and implementing AI models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and enhance our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, develop prototypes, and deploy scalable AI solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate AI related work packages in RBCD in manufacturing areas
• Design and develop AI models, algorithms, and solutions to solve specific business problems.
• Implement and optimize machine learning pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
• Conduct experiments to validate model performance and iterate on improvements.
• Work closely with software engineers to integrate AI models into production systems and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay informed about ethical considerations and best practices in AI development and deployment.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including presenting findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT/machine/product technical experts to define data collection, storage and process concept
• Support on developing understanding and competence of machine learning/deep learning

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related field.
• More than 3 years proven experience in developing and deploying AI solutions, preferably in a industrial setting.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java, with experience using libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, such as supervised learning, unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and deep learning.
• Experience with data preprocessing techniques, feature selection, and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Huawei) and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to take challenges, passion to solve problem in a systematic way.
• Excellent at python, familiar with at least one of the frameworks: TensorFlow, pyTorch
• Familiar with classic image processing (eg. Image filter, edge detection, feature extraction, camera calibration…) and machine learning algorithms, good at opencv and deep learning for image processing (object classification, object detection, Segmentation…)
• Familiar with deep learning models. Eg: CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer…
• Familiar with deep learning area, latest achievement in the computer vision. Deep understanding of the deep learning network eg. AlexNet/VGG/ResNet/DeseNet/NIN/MobileNet, and the computing power/resource bottleneck of the network.
• Familiar with object detection framework and method, eg: SSD, Yolo, Faster-RCNN…
• Familiar with tool chain of data labelling, data management
• Experience with large language model and computer vision is a plus.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies.
