Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive SAP CO Expert to join our Financial Controlling team. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and continuous improvement of controlling processes within SAP, particularly in preparation for S/4HANA migration. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP CO, strong analytical capabilities, and a collaborative mindset to support cross-functional projects and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

Controlling Operations & System Integrity

  • Ensure accurate reconciliation between COPA and PCA, resolving complex discrepancies.
  • Lead the central month-end closing activities and identify opportunities for enhancing reporting quality and consistency across North American locations
  • Prepare the SAP system for year-end closing and new fiscal year setup.
  • Perform inventory revaluation for quarterly and year-end closings.
  • Act as SAP-CO data steward, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with domain rules.

SAP CO Customizing & Master Data Management

  • Coordinate and test SAP CO customizing changes, ensuring alignment with the Rainbow template.
  • Create, maintain, and customize CO master data (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders).
  • Clean up CO master data in preparation for S/4HANA migration.
  • Support SAP upgrade testing and approve CO-related processes to ensure system integrity.

Project & Process Support

  • Provide expert SAP CO support for DCNA projects.
  • Implement and document cross-module SAP processes to support business integration.
  • Train SAP CO users and other SAP key users and promote best practices to ensure system proficiency and sustainability.

 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of experience in SAP CO module required.
    • Strong understanding of controlling processes, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
    • Experience with SAP BW and data reconciliation.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
