Description

§ Lead the design, development, and optimization of light-duty electric vehicle drive axle gearbox systems.

§ Develop detailed project timelines and roadmaps to ensure timely completion of R&D tasks.

§ Collaborate with team members to select, integrate, and define technical specifications for key

components such as motors and reducers.

§ Perform performance simulation tests on the drive axle gearbox system design and adjust the design

based on test results.

§ Coordinate with suppliers and internal resources to ensure project progress according to schedule.

§ Write detailed technical documentation including design reports, testing records, and outcome reports.

§ Participate in vehicle assembly tuning work to ensure compatibility of the drive axle gearbox system with

other systems.

Qualifications

§ Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Design, or related fields; a Master’s

degree is preferred.

§ At least 3-5 years of industry experience in electric vehicles, particularly in R&D for light-duty EV drive

systems.

§ Proficient knowledge and understanding of motor technology, power electronics, and control principles.

§ Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments both internally and externally.

§ Familiarity with CAD design software Cero and CAE tools for simulation analysis.

§ Innovative problem-solving capabilities and resourcefulness in addressing challenges during the development process.

- Good understanding of the Gear shafting system and the relative components.

- Knowledge about the quality tools (e.g. 8D, SPC, FMEA) and machining process preferred.
