Description

Based in Shanghai or Beijing, you'll report to the Vice President of Bosch Research APAC and take on a leadership role with global reach. Here's what you'll be driving:
• Pioneering ADAS research: Lead the charge on next-gen technologies like multimodal foundation models, end-to-end learning, and vision-language models, partnering with Bosch teams worldwide.
• Sparking innovation: Forge connections with Chinese academia and startups to stay ahead of the curve and bring fresh ideas to life.
• Delivering impact: Work with our XC Business Unit in China to create solutions that scale globally while meeting local needs.
• Inspiring a top-tier team: Guide a small, elite leadership group, making strategic calls that shape the future of ADAS.

Qualifications

• An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• Deep ADAS expertise: Extensive experience in autonomous driving or ADAS, with hands-on knowledge of multimodal models, end-to-end learning, and vision-language systems.
• Tech savvy: Strong skills in Python, C++, and frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch for building and deploying large-scale models.
• Proven leadership: A history of guiding teams, making big decisions, and driving innovation as a senior expert or leader.
• Networking prowess: The ability to collaborate with academia, startups, and business units to fuel co-creation.
• Language skills: Native-level Chinese and fluent English to shine in our global, diverse team.
• Market know-how: Insight into China's automotive tech scene and regulations, balancing local wins with global goals.
