In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Champion Employee Experience: Help us create a workplace where our people feel valued, engaged and empowered. You will be the HR Partner for our Trainee Group including: Interns, Apprentices and other Graduates across two manufacturing locations and our Field based teams.
  • Be Our People Brand Ambassador & Future Talent Scout: You'll be a key contact for our highly anticipated Trainee events, helping to organise and host engaging sessions. You'll represent us at careers fairs, passionately showcasing what makes us a fantastic place to work, and act as an ambassador for our business – inspiring the next generation of talent to join our ranks!
  • Master the Art of HR Operations: Get to grips with the essential backbone of HR, including maintaining accurate records, updating HR systems, supporting our team of HR Partners with Company processes, administration and ensuring compliance with all the latest UK employment legislation.
  • Contribute to Exciting Projects: From wellbeing initiatives to diversity and inclusion, you'll have the chance to lend your fresh perspective and energy to impactful projects that make a difference.
  • Learn from the Best: You'll be mentored by experienced HR professionals who are invested in your development, providing guidance, support and a wealth of knowledge.

Qualifications

Right To Work: please ensure you have valid Right To Work in the UK status for the duration of the contract term. This is a 2-year fixed term role.

Our ideal candidate should:

  • Be a recent university graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or another related field.
  • Have a genuine passion for people and a strong desire to build a career in HR. You understand the importance of creating a positive employee experience.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You can articulate your ideas clearly and concisely, and you're a natural at building rapport.
  • Have exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. You can juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure accuracy in your work.
  • Have a proactive and inquisitive mindset. You're not afraid to ask questions, challenge the status quo (respectfully!) and suggest new ideas.
  • Be a team player with a collaborative spirit. You thrive in a supportive environment and enjoy working with others to achieve shared goals.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Have a 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt. The world of HR is constantly evolving, and we need someone who is eager to keep pace!

Contract Duration: 2 years

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour unpaid lunchbreak
