Description

1. Logistics Cost Clearance Operations

• Verify logistics invoices and statements in accordance with approved documentation.
• Ensure billing verification activities are fully compliant with established operating procedures, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Utilize relevant systems supporting Logistics Cost Clearance (LCC) processes.
• Be a contact window for all topics related to logistics cost.

2. Project Implementation & System Support

• Participate in the implementation of the Logistics Cost Clearance (LCC) platform.
• Play as a user for system testing, validation, and acceptance of new system setups, enhancements, and process changes.
• Provide training, guidance and follow up logistics service providers’ s performance to ensure alignment with defined processes and standards.

3. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Develop deep expertise in LCC processes to proactively identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Be entrepreneurial and creative in building the best-tailored solution to meet the requests from customers, management.
• Help customers to drive cost saving as an expert in logistics cost.
• Ad hoc report as per requests.

4. Transportation & Logistics Operations Support

• Support other logistics and transportation-related tasks as assigned by the manager.
• Take responsibility for resolving operational issues and coordinating with internal stakeholders and logistics service providers.

Qualifications

• 3~5 years-experience in accounting, logistics, or Import-Export; or related fields.
• Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) and basic proficiency in English.
• Proficient in computer applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Strong pproblem-solving skill.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with ability to work with cross-functions. Project management experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
