Main responsibility includes:               

• Conduct research, pre-development and patent filing of innovative powertrain integration (Motor, Inverter, Gearbox) for electrified vehicles
• Conduct mechanical design, simulation and test validation of eAxle concept
• Conduct innovation on gearbox concept & performance evaluation
• Manage suppliers for sample construction and mechanical integration
• Work closely with corporate research hub in Renningen, Germany on project activities and competence development
• Work closely with business units to supply cutting edge and competitive technology solutions and to transform them to products

Qualifications

• Master degree w/ 3 years working experience or PhD degree in discipline of mechanical engineering or related majors.
• Expert knowledge and rich experience on mechanical integration system such as eAxle, corner module, inhub motor
• Experience on gear design; expert knowledge on gear meshing theory and gear design tools (KISSsoft, Romax or Masta) is a plus
• Proficient in mechanical CAD commercial software (UG, SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD etc.) and mechanical CAE simulation commercial software (ANSYS Mechanical, Abaqus, etc.) are necessary
• Good at programming (Python, C++, etc.), knowledge on AI algorithm is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written)
• Efficient, goal-oriented, structured working style, experienced in project work
• Strong documentation and writing skills
• Passionate for innovation
• Strong team player, open to work in an international environment
