We are seeking a talented Project Manager for Sustainable Packaging to join our team and be a pioneer in defining the future of our packaging solutions. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our packaging strategy, driving projects from ideation to implementation and contributing to a more sustainable world. If you are a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in packaging technology, we want to hear from you!

  • Lead the full cycle of packaging projects, from initial concept and chartering to development and final handover.
  • Drive packaging innovation by identifying and steering projects with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and practical application of our sustainable packaging strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for packaging improvement and cost savings through data analysis, external research, and collaboration with our procurement department.
  • Continuously enhance the customer experience by implementing novel and sustainable packaging solutions.
  • Serve as the main point of contact during project implementation, ensuring a smooth transition to production.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and work closely with a diverse ecosystem of suppliers and partners.
  • Provide technical advice and expertise to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

  • Education: University degree in Packaging Technology, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a comparable technical field.
     
  • Experience and Expertise: You have experience in packaging development and packaging technology, ideally complemented by knowledge of production processes and material technologies. You have already contributed to packaging projects or managed projects independently and understand the implementation of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.
     
  • Passion: You are passionate about designing sustainable and innovative packaging, contribute creative ideas, and drive projects forward with strong team commitment.
     
  • Personality and Working Style: Strong planning, self-organization, and communication skills, combined with an adaptable and positive personality and a strong motivation for continuous learning and improvement. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in teams and with stakeholders.
     
  • Languages: Fluent business English; German is an advantage.
