The Opportunity: Build the Future of Business with AI

Are you a highly motivated Data Science Engineer with a passion for designing and implementing impactful AI and automated solutions? Do you thrive on seeing your models and systems directly transform how Sales teams win, Project Managers deliver, and Innovation Engineers create?

We're looking for a visionary and hands-on Data Science Engineer to join our growing team. You'll play a role in architecting, developing, and deploying AI-driven tools and automated workflows that directly enhance the efficiency, intelligence, and strategic capabilities of our critical internal stakeholders. This isn't just about building models; it's about building solutions that empower our people and accelerate our business.

What You'll Do & The Impact You'll Make:

  • Strategic AI Implementation: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of robust AI and machine learning solutions specifically tailored for our Sales, Project Management, and Innovation Engineering functions.
    • For Sales: Imagine predictive lead scoring, automated proposal generation assistance, personalized sales enablement content, or smart customer churn prediction.
    • For Project Managers: Think intelligent resource allocation, risk prediction, automated progress reporting, or optimized project scheduling.
    • For Innovation Engineers: Envision AI-powered ideation tools, automated patent searches, market trend analysis, or rapid prototyping support.
  • Problem Solver & Innovator: Work closely with stakeholders to deeply understand their challenges, identify high-impact opportunities for automation and AI, and translate complex business problems into viable technical solutions.
  • Full Lifecycle Ownership: From data acquisition and feature engineering to model training, deployment (MLOps), monitoring, and continuous improvement – you'll own the entire lifecycle of your solutions.
  • Architect & Build: Design and implement scalable, resilient, and performant data pipelines and machine learning infrastructure.
  • Thought Leadership & Collaboration: Act as a subject matter expert in data science and AI, mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Technology Explorer: Stay ahead of the curve on emerging AI/ML technologies and evaluate their potential application within our business.

What We're Looking For (Your Superpowers):

  • Hands-on experience in Data Science or Machine Learning Engineering, with a strong portfolio of deployed solutions.
  • Deep expertise in:
    • Programming languages: Python (essential), SQL.
    • ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, etc.
    • Data manipulation and analysis libraries: Pandas, NumPy.
    • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (experience with MLOps tools/services on one of these is highly desirable).
  • Proven ability to build and deploy robust, production-grade machine learning systems.
  • Strong understanding of various ML algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, NLP, time series) and when to apply them effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset: You're not just executing tasks; you're finding the best solutions to real-world business problems.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Automotive-related hobby and/or experience working with engines or vehicles.
  • Experience with specific domains relevant to Sales (CRM data), Project Management (Jira/Asana APIs), or Innovation (IP data, market research APIs).
  • Prior experience in a consulting or product development environment where you delivered solutions to diverse internal or external customers.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Streamlit) to convey insights effectively.
