The Mobility Electronics (ME) division engineers a wide portfolio of micro-mechanical sensors that are essential to modern life, from automotive safety and navigation over consumer devices like smartphones and hearables up to control systems in spacecrafts. You can find Bosch sensors everywhere. Our team specializes in the development of a tool for Electronic Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) used to develop the underlying micro-structures which operate often at the edge of what is physically possible. We cover the full product lifecycle while continuously expanding its capabilities within a state-of-the art software development environment. Our work is conducted in a highly dynamic, international setting, in close collaboration with in-house manufacturing and together with world-renowned brands from the automotive and consumer industry.
Your tasks:
► You develop new features for a Java-based ECAD tool based on requirements from novel sensor designs
► You ensure reliability of the tool using rigorous testing within a state-of-the-art testing framework
► You optimize the tool for efficiency and usability by consequently considering user experience
► You participate in an agile software development team and actively shape its success
► You develop creative solutions in the automatization of design workflows that include the ECAD tool
► You actively support design and simulation colleagues in the development of innovative sensor concepts
