As Brand Manager Snacks at PepsiCo in Zaventem, Belgium, you will own the end-to-end marketing mix for Doritos, Cheetos, and Lay’s in the Netherlands and Belgium. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager BNL Doritos, Cheetos, Lay’s Snacks, this role is pivotal in achieving aggressive growth targets. You will collaborate across Sales, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Commercialization, and global teams to craft locally relevant strategies. From NPD roll-outs and multi-channel campaigns (TV, online video, social media) to accelerating Doritos into new growth channels, you will ensure perfect execution while tracking KPIs like penetration, frequency, volume growth, and share of market (SOM).
Support the Senior Marketing Manager in building a strong category vision by deeply understanding consumer and shopper needs. Stay ahead of competitors through market analyses, trackers, competitive benchmarking, and consumer insights. Translate these into concrete plans and actions for Benelux markets.
Develop marketing strategies in collaboration with the Sector Category team and lead execution for BE and NL. Manage local briefs, agency partnerships, and ensure all innovations, packaging, communications, and digital activations are locally relevant and delivered on time. Own budget accountability, working closely with Finance for reporting and optimization.
Execute brand growth strategies, including global sponsorships like FIFA World Cup and Formula 1, with flawless local adaptation. Network with Europe Sector Category teams and other Western Europe countries to identify synergies, lift-and-shift best practices, NPDs, and activations. Evaluate performance against KPIs and course-correct as needed.
To succeed in this role, candidates need a University Degree and a minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in marketing or commercial positions within the FMCG industry. A solid understanding of category management principles, customer dynamics, and shopper landscapes across markets is essential. Excellent communication and influencing skills are crucial for navigating PepsiCo's matrix organization.
Key traits include consumer-centric thinking, perfect execution, functional brand-building skills, creativity, proactivity, ambition, and entrepreneurship. You must be results-driven, analytical, and a strong team player capable of working independently in a hybrid setup with regular travel between Belgium and the Netherlands.
