Job Description

Provide technical expertise and leadership on radiochemical and analytical methodologies in support of isotope development programs. Analyze and interpret experimental data to drive experimental planning for various aspects of the isotope programs. Support the technical transfer of radiochemical methods from other RayzeBio and third-party sites to the Indianapolis facility. Execute and lead development activities in the Radiochemistry laboratory for various RayzeBio programs. Manage third party vendors in support of analytical and laboratory equipment. Draft GMP documentation including but not limited to SOP's, forms, and reports. Support activities related to hot cells, gloveboxes, and production cleanrooms. Ensure compliance with NRC, EH&S and US/EU GMP regulatory guidelines as required. Less than 5% of travel required Work-life programs include paid national holidays and optional holidays, Global Shutdown Days between Christmas and New Year's holiday, up to 120 hours of paid vacation, up to two (2) paid days to volunteer, sick time off, and summer hours flexibility. BS/MS with 5+ years of experience in Radiochemistry or other scientific equivalent work experience. PhD with 3+ years of experience in Radiochemistry or other scientific equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience working with radioactive materials. Experience with wet radiochemistry and/or ion-exchange column separations. Experience with negative pressure gloveboxes and/or hot cells. Experience with analytical methods (HPGe gamma spectroscopy, liquid scintillation, alpha spectroscopy, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, etc.) Experience in electrochemistry and/or materials science. Experience working with radioactive materials, specifically alpha emitters, is highly desirable. Excellent scientific data analysis and technical writing skills. Excellent professional ethics, integrity, and ability to maintain confidential information.
