Job Description

About the Role/Company

  • BMS prioritizes the safe and appropriate use of its products while focusing on overall company sales performance and performance goals in line with BMS values
  • TAS builds strong relationships with stakeholders involved in patient care, including healthcare professionals and thought leaders, and serves as a point of contact
  • TAS collaborates with other BMS functions as needed to meet the needs of healthcare professionals in a timely and scientific manner, providing a high level of customer experience (Cx)

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the portfolio by demonstrating clinical and scientific evidence to stimulate demand for BMS pharmaceuticals among appropriate patients
  • Maintain and enhance a high level of scientific expertise in the assigned products and disease areas
  • Promote BMS products for approved indications within the designated territory and achieve sales targets
  • Plan and execute external speaker lectures, selecting speakers from an approved list and following the appropriate slide review process
  • Develop and successfully implement a comprehensive territory and account management plan including account openings
  • Actively use omnichannel tools (such as CE^3) to gain insights and reflect them in visit plans timely, and provide feedback on the use of these tools to promote continuous improvement
  • Engage in fair and balanced scientific dialogue, presenting information to healthcare professionals using approved scientific resources and publications with scientific expertise and passion
  • Plan and conduct briefings at medical institutions to discuss scientific product information aligned with the label with healthcare professionals
  • Maintain advanced practical knowledge of new data
  • Collaborate appropriately with the medical department to respond promptly to questions and complex inquiries about unapproved matters
  • Actively cooperate with other field teams to ensure the highest level of customer experience (Cx) for healthcare professionals
  • Collect and share relevant insights and information within the company with appropriate stakeholders to enable BMS to provide better services to customers
  • Regularly communicate with distributors to manage trends related to our products and our product-related activities at assigned facilities
  • Closely collaborate with alliance partners (for applicable products only) to maximize customer experience (Cx) for healthcare professionals
