We're seeking a Senior Account Executive, Government & Healthcare to drive our expansion within UK public sector institutions, including Central Government, Local Authorities, and Healthcare organizations. This greenfield enterprise sales role focuses on landing net-new Canva for Enterprise customers, empowering public teams to communicate clearly, consistently, and efficiently through our intuitive design platform. Based at our vibrant London campus in Hoxton Square – Canva's European headquarters – you'll enjoy a hybrid model blending collaborative innovation with flexible work that fuels creativity and success. In this role, you'll own the full sales cycle, building targeted strategies across priority accounts in Communications, Marketing, Digital, HR, and operations. Multi-thread with executives, IT, procurement, and governance stakeholders while navigating UK Government processes to deliver compliant, scalable solutions. Partner with BDRs on outbound plays, lead high-impact discovery and value sessions showcasing Canva's transformative impact on brand consistency, operational efficiency, and constituent engagement. Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute account strategies across UK Central Government ministries, Non-Ministerial Departments, Arms-Length Bodies, Local Authorities, Public Safety agencies, and public institutions
  • Multi-thread into priority accounts targeting Communications, Marketing, Digital, Brand, HR, and operational leadership
  • Drive repeatable land-and-expand motions tailored to Government decision processes, governance models, and adoption structures
  • Own the full sales cycle from outbound pipeline generation through commercial signature
  • Lead detailed discovery tied to Government priorities including public communication, brand consistency, operational efficiency, and constituent engagement
  • Partner closely with BDRs to refine target account lists, calibrate messaging, and drive top-of-funnel momentum
  • Navigate Government procurement processes and collaborate with Legal, Security, and Deal Desk on compliant enterprise agreements
  • Run targeted outbound plays using persona-based insights and Canva’s Government value narrative
  • Lead high-impact executive conversations and tailored value sessions demonstrating Canva Enterprise’s impact
  • Build internal momentum for multi-team adoption and long-term expansion
  • Leverage Canva’s design tools to showcase transformative communication capabilities for public sector teams

Required Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of direct software sales experience
  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience selling to Government customers, including Central and/or Local Government
  • Proven Enterprise SaaS new-business (hunter) experience
  • Experience partnering directly with BDRs/SDRs
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-thread senior Government accounts
  • Strong commercial and negotiation capabilities
  • High-caliber communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to operate in a builder environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to Healthcare organizations in the public sector
  • Familiarity with UK Government procurement processes and frameworks
