In this hybrid role, you'll proactively build pipeline through targeted outreach, qualify high-value opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive adoption of Canva's visual communication tools in mission-critical public sector environments. You'll partner closely with sales leaders to identify strategic opportunities, leveraging tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to execute multi-channel campaigns tailored to public sector buyers. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales & Success team to identify strategic pipeline opportunities in the public sector
  • Drive demand generation through proactive cold outreach, social selling, and qualification meetings
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline targeting government agencies and public institutions
  • Become a Canva product expert, mastering our design platform and public sector use cases
  • Monitor accounts, territories, competitors, and industry trends to inform sales strategies
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success to align go-to-market efforts
  • Utilize Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, and other tools for pipeline hygiene
  • Execute sharp account planning, objection handling, and multi-channel outreach campaigns
  • Hit key performance metrics including weekly activities, monthly pipeline goals, and quarterly targets
  • Contribute to team success in a collaborative, design-forward culture focused on customer impact

Required Qualifications

  • Strong track record of generating pipeline and driving revenue growth in BDR or similar sales development roles
  • Experience in public sector sales or account management, understanding government procurement processes
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and sales outreach tools like Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong
  • Demonstrated success in cold outreach across phone, email, social selling, and direct mail channels
  • Proven ability to hit weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment with evolving priorities
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage personal workflow independently
  • Relevant experience in SaaS or design-focused technology sales
