We're seeking a Creative Director, Campaigns for a 6-month full-time contract in our London Design team. Reporting to the Creative Director for Europe, you'll lead bold, insight-led advertising campaigns across UK, Italy, France, and Spain, blending strategic vision with hands-on craft to build brand love and drive growth. This hybrid role focuses on high-collaboration in London, working with in-house creatives, marketing, growth teams, and agency partners to deliver fame-driven work across TV, digital, social, OOH, performance, and emerging platforms. In this role, you'll shape culturally resonant storytelling that differentiates Canva globally while rooting campaigns in local insights. Build always-on creative systems for rapid testing and iteration, elevate design excellence, and foster an inclusive culture of experimentation. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Canva’s advertising and integrated campaign development across Europe (UK, Italy, France, Spain)
  • Create bold, culturally relevant work across TV, digital, social, OOH, and performance channels
  • Build an always-on creative capability for rapid testing, iteration, and optimisation
  • Elevate storytelling and design to differentiate Canva while ensuring global brand alignment
  • Use insights, trends, and data to drive creative effectiveness and innovation
  • Partner with in-house teams and agencies to deliver high-quality, locally resonant campaigns
  • Contribute towards a high-performing, inclusive creative culture where experimentation is encouraged
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, growth, and product teams to deliver world-class work across markets
  • Shape campaigns that are brave, insight-led, rooted in local storytelling, and crafted for maximum impact

  • Demonstrable Lead Creative experience across both agency and in-house environments
  • Proven ability to lead major advertising campaigns across Europe
  • Strong understanding of consumer tech and/or direct-to-consumer brands
  • Deep expertise in brand campaign creative across digital, social, and traditional channels
  • A standout portfolio showcasing excellence in storytelling and advertising craft
  • Strategic thinker who can connect creative ideas to clear business outcomes
  • Confident communicator and presenter, able to influence senior stakeholders
