Key Responsibilities

  • Set the creative vision for Thailand, grounded in cultural insights and aligned with Canva’s global brand strategy
  • Translate regional priorities into hyperlocal content plans, templates, design kits, and marketing campaigns
  • Lead end-to-end content development ensuring cultural authenticity, design excellence, and business impact
  • Drive creative innovation through experimentation with formats, storytelling, and emerging design trends
  • Use data, content audits, and performance metrics to inform and optimize creative decisions
  • Partner with Country Manager, Marketing, SEO, and Community teams to align strategies and amplify reach
  • Direct local freelancers and creator communities with clear briefs and actionable feedback
  • Monitor competitive landscape and creative trends to identify opportunities for differentiation
  • Champion inclusive, culturally resonant content that celebrates Thai identity and Canva values
  • Report on campaign outcomes and share learnings with leadership and cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a creative leader in design, marketing, or content creation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience leading creative teams or initiatives with a focus on international, regional, or local markets
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, culturally relevant creative work including layouts, social media, and branding
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with teams such as Marketing, SEO, Growth, and Product
  • Demonstrated ability to manage freelancers, creators, and external partners with a focus on quality and brand alignment
  • Fluency in Thai and English, with deep cultural understanding of the Thai market
