As a Mid-Market Account Executive based in Sydney, Australia, you'll play a pivotal role in our hybrid team, strategically targeting medium-sized accounts to drive new logo acquisition and revenue growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment. In this role, you'll take ownership of your territory, crafting strategic account plans and proactively building pipeline through targeted outbound efforts. Using Salesforce to maintain crystal-clear visibility, you'll guide customers through tailored discovery journeys, leveraging Canva's creative vision to solve their unique business challenges. Become a product expert across our Worksuite, positioning scalable solutions while capturing insights that shape our roadmap. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory and account planning strategies to identify high-potential opportunities
  • Proactively build sales pipeline through outbound engagement and targeted prospecting
  • Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and momentum using Salesforce
  • Guide customers through tailored buying journeys with compelling, design-focused storytelling
  • Deeply understand Canva's product suite and position creative solutions to solve business challenges
  • Capture customer feedback and share insights to influence Canva's product roadmap
  • Foster long-term relationships with customers and cross-functional internal teams
  • Simplify complex problems into customer-ready stories using Canva Worksuite (Presentations, Docs, Whiteboards)
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams to ensure alignment on pipeline, forecast, and deal progression
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic account management and expansion opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with medium-sized accounts and strong track record of top performance, ideally in a tech/SaaS environment
  • Successful management of full sales cycles with focus on new logo acquisition
  • Experience building strategic account plans and mapping value across complex organisations
  • Demonstrated ability to present to multiple stakeholders and lead sophisticated negotiations
  • Comfort with ambiguity and thriving in fast-moving, ever-changing environments
  • Proficiency in Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting
  • Experience in outbound prospecting and pipeline generation
