Reporting to the Chief of Staff of Platforms, you'll be the heartbeat keeping our teams connected, efficient, and thriving in our fast-scaling, design-first world. Based in Sydney with hybrid flexibility, you'll craft the rhythms that turn big ambitions into seamless reality – from goal cadences and cultural events to AI-powered efficiencies and high-impact projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Run smooth goal cadences including planning cycles, progress tracking, and highlighting wins/blockers/dependencies
  • Operationalise org-wide cadences like All Hands, research reviews, and specialty meetings to deliver maximum value
  • Drive cultural connection through organising large-scale events, rituals, and onsite celebrations for a 265-person globally distributed Infrastructure team
  • Partner with People Partners and Leads to turn Pulse feedback into actionable improvements across Infra & Product Platform
  • Support high-impact special projects such as Hackathons, Canva World Tour, budget centralisation, or risk management frameworks
  • Build visibility through designing dashboards and reports providing leaders with clear performance insights
  • Experiment with AI and automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and unlock team efficiencies
  • Act as the operational glue connecting goals, people, and processes for Engineers, Product, and Designers
  • Orchestrate team rituals, events, and culture-building moments to foster collaboration and inclusion
  • Collaborate with Chief of Staff of Platforms to ensure seamless cross-functional execution

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in operations, program/project management, or equivalent team-enabling roles
  • Based in Sydney, Australia with flexibility for hybrid work (office at least once a week and as needed)
  • Proven experience running special projects including budgeting, risk management, and large-scale event management
  • Strong track record in operationalising team processes and cadences in fast-scaling tech environments
  • Experience supporting engineering or infrastructure teams in goal planning and execution
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cultural initiatives for globally distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in tech companies with engineering-heavy teams (200+ people)
  • Familiarity with AI tools and automation for operational efficiency
  • Background in People Operations or partnering with HR/People teams on employee feedback initiatives
  • Event planning experience for large-scale onsite and virtual team events
  • Knowledge of dashboard creation and reporting tools for leadership visibility
