We're seeking a Product Localisation Lead - Thailand to own Canva’s product and localisation experience in Bangkok, ensuring Thai users have a delightful, culturally resonant Canva journey. With over 100 million monthly users creating in 100+ languages, our small, distributed Localisation team within the Marketing supergroup collaborates across the organisation to deliver hyperlocalised magic. In this onsite, full-time role, you'll be the voice of Thai users, championing culturally relevant content and driving innovative adaptations of our global design platform. You'll own Thailand's localisation strategy, contribute to product roadmaps (features, payments, authentication), analyze user and subscription funnels for insights, and adapt messaging/campaigns to Thai nuances. Partnering with linguists, translators, and global teams, you'll provide cultural guidance, develop style guides, and turn complex challenges into clear, collaborative wins—perfect for our design-focused, innovative culture where engineers, PMs, and designers co-create. Key Responsibilities

  • Own Canva’s product and localisation strategy specifically for the Thailand market
  • Contribute to the product roadmap, including feature rollouts, payment methods, and authentication for Thai users
  • Analyze active user and subscription funnels to identify and prioritize improvement areas
  • Evaluate and adapt global messaging, campaigns, and product experiences to resonate with Thai audiences
  • Provide cultural insights and guidance to global product, design, and marketing teams
  • Collaborate with linguists, translators, and local partners to ensure cultural nuance in Thai-language experiences
  • Partner with the Thai Language Manager to develop style guides, tone of voice, and localisation best practices
  • Champion the voice of Thai users within Canva’s collaborative, design-focused culture
  • Work cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver hyperlocalised experiences
  • Drive initiatives from chaos to clarity, fostering innovative solutions for Thai user delight

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in product localisation or internationalisation within a high-growth SaaS or product-led company
  • Deep understanding of Thai customer needs and market opportunities
  • Analytical mindset for evaluating user funnels, campaign effectiveness, and data-driven improvements
  • Passion for Thai culture and its impact on user product experiences
  • Fluency in Thai and English with exceptional communication skills
