Key Responsibilities

  • Drive quality improvements across the growth team by collaborating with stakeholders on process, tooling, and testing enhancements
  • Create comprehensive test strategies for team projects, emphasizing shift-left QA activities
  • Monitor and analyze test results to identify issues early in the development cycle
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to debug and resolve quality issues swiftly
  • Partner with data analysts to verify experiment results and ensure accurate data tracking
  • Perform root cause analysis for experiment discrepancies and quality failures
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for team testing methodologies and product knowledge
  • Drive knowledge sharing, documentation, and training for software engineers and QA across teams
  • Advocate for quality standards in growth-focused experiments and features
  • Support Canva's internationalization strategy through high-quality user acquisition initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing
  • Experience testing web applications, mobile apps (iOS and Android), and/or backend services
  • Solid understanding of rich/complex UIs and working closely with engineering teams
  • Experience defining QA processes for product teams and advocating for quality improvements
  • Ability to coordinate tasks and self-prioritize based on business needs
  • Proficiency in English reading and writing, with fluent speaking skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science or software engineering
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Background in Software Engineering in Testing (SDET)
  • Project management experience
  • Located in Beijing or Wuhan
