Key Responsibilities

  • Uncover creative insights about Affinity products and customers to drive strategic decisions
  • Design and execute impactful experiments that measurably improve key metrics
  • Build and maintain visually appealing, intuitive dashboards for product teams
  • Own end-to-end data projects, ensuring models and artifacts remain high-quality amid hypergrowth
  • Query giant databases to solve deceptively complex business questions
  • Extend data literacy and curiosity across engineering, product, design, and marketing teams
  • Collaborate closely with Affinity's cross-functional squad to shape product innovations
  • Analyze user behavior in photo editing, vector design, and layout tools to enhance creator experiences
  • Communicate data findings through compelling stories that inspire design-focused action

Required Qualifications

  • Strong competency with SQL for querying large datasets
  • Experience with data wrangling and analysis using Python or R
  • Demonstrated skills in optimizing product funnels, running experiments, and building dashboards
  • Proven ability to own data projects, models, and dashboards in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills to break down complex data insights into simple, actionable ideas
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and design teams
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience
