Design and run experiments that deliver real metric lifts, build intuitive dashboards that wow our teams (no design skills required, just a passion for cool outputs), and own data projects end-to-end in our hypergrowth environment. Collaborate closely to support creator tools for tracking reach, curate diverse libraries, and run global challenges, all while fostering data curiosity across Canva. We're seeking a communicative data wizard with strong SQL, Python/R chops, and a track record of funnel optimisation and experimentation. Key Responsibilities

• Uncover creative insights about Pexels users, creators, and customers to drive product decisions
• Design and execute impactful experiments that deliver measurable metric improvements
• Build and maintain intuitive, visually appealing dashboards for product teams
• Own end-to-end data projects, ensuring models and artefacts remain high-quality amid hypergrowth
• Query giant databases to solve deceptively complex business questions
• Foster data literacy and curiosity across Canva's engineering, product, community, and marketing teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads to shape Pexels' evolution in the creative visuals space
• Support features like creator analytics for views, downloads, and reach
• Contribute to community initiatives like challenges and diverse content curation
• Ship rapidly in autonomous squads with a bias for action and real-world impact

Required Qualifications

• Strong competency with SQL for querying large datasets
• Experience with data wrangling and analysis using Python or R
• Proven skills in optimising product funnels, running A/B experiments, and building effective dashboards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to simplify complex data insights
• Experience owning data projects, models, and dashboards in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and marketing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
• Hands-on work with very large-scale datasets
• Background in mathematics or statistics
• Familiarity with content platforms or creative marketplaces
• Design thinking mindset for creating visually compelling dashboards
