Based remotely in Seoul/Korea, you'll collaborate with our global SEO team of ~150 experts to build and expand Canva's SEO foundations tailored for Korean audiences. From localizing our design-empowering website to dominating Naver's unique ecosystem—blogs, Cafés, Knowledge iN, and influencers—you'll drive visibility and engagement in this hyper-growth market. In this role, you'll dive deep into Korean keyword research, content audits, and optimization using tools like Naver Keyword Planner, ensuring our content ranks highly on Google and Naver while resonating with local users. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular content audits aligned with Canva's brand goals and business objectives in South Korea
• Perform competitor and Korean keyword research using Naver Keyword Planner for high-volume, intent-driven terms
• Localize key English website pages for optimal rankings on Google and Naver South Korean sub-folder
• Grow Canva's presence on Naver ecosystem through blogs, high-quality posts, and news articles
• Update and optimize Naver Blog for freshness, engaging with comments to boost credibility
• Follow content calendars and requirements to ensure timely launches of website and Naver content
• Track content impact, develop actionable playbooks, and maintain highest quality standards
• Upload and publish SEO-optimized content following best practices and local tone of voice
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail, catching typos, grammar, and cultural nuances
• Collaborate with global SEO team and local stakeholders in a hyper-growth environment
• Identify new SEO opportunities and drive continuous process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Native Korean speaker with business-level English proficiency
• Excellent grasp of Korean language with structured or creative writing flair
• Intermediate to professional experience in copywriting and copy editing
• Solid understanding of SEO pillars: content, technical, and link building
• Proven success leading SEO content projects on large websites, including Naver
• Mastery of Naver's content structure preferences and optimization techniques
• Experience optimizing for Naver Café and engaging communities
• Expertise in Naver Knowledge iN for authoritative responses and link building

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience running a successful Naver blog
• Proficiency with Naver analytics tools for content performance analysis
• Hands-on experience with Naver content promotion and distribution
• Background in creating brand mentions on Naver-verified news sites
• Collaboration experience with Korean influencers for backlinks
