As our Sponsorship Manager on a 4.5-month full-time contract in Sydney, Australia, you'll play a pivotal role in the Partnerships & Sponsorships Centre of Excellence (CoE). With Canva's global expansion, sponsorships are a key driver for business growth and customer relationships. You'll focus on delivering exceptional sponsorship experiences for flagship events like Canva Create in April 2026, managing 6–7 Bronze sponsors from kickoff to post-event insights, ensuring seamless execution, measurable ROI, and premium touchpoints that embody Canva's innovative, design-focused culture. In this hybrid role, you'll collaborate closely with our experiential agency Public School, internal Marketing, Product, creative, legal, and finance teams, bringing structure to complex workflows in our fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include orchestrating production for activations, handling ticketing, lead and content capture, invoicing, and delivering actionable reports that inform future strategies. Your proactive, solutions-focused approach will elevate sponsor outcomes while fostering long-term relationships in a collaborative setting that thrives on creativity and bold ideas. Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of Canva Create sponsorships, managing 6–7 Bronze level sponsors
  • Conduct kickoff meetings and rollout sponsorship activations
  • Manage internal and external reviews of all channel inclusions
  • Oversee production workflows with experiential agency Public School and internal teams
  • Coordinate sponsorship operations including ticketing distribution and lead capture
  • Handle content capture and sponsor invoicing processes
  • Contribute to reporting, reconciliation, and post-event insights for ROI measurement
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with sponsors and cross-functional teams
  • Ensure seamless event execution with clear expectations for all stakeholders
  • Drive premium sponsor experiences aligned with Canva's innovative brand
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Ecosystem, Enterprise, and Product teams

Required Qualifications

  • Experience managing Brand Partnerships or sponsorships across large-scale events or campaigns
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sponsors, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously
  • Experience coordinating with product, creative, production, legal, and finance teams
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills with sponsors and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused approach
  • Track record thriving in fast-paced environments with cross-functional work streams
  • Experience delivering premium customer service in sponsorship touchpoints
  • Availability for flexible working hours, including US time zones
