Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of a new frontend telemetry SDK to capture behavioral, performance, and reliability signals at scale
  • Shape the technical direction of frontend telemetry, influencing company-wide measurement standards
  • Collaborate with product, platform engineers, data scientists, and leaders to address measurement challenges
  • Build intuitive frontend experiences to surface telemetry insights for teams and leadership
  • Drive company-wide rollout of the SDK, supporting migration from legacy systems
  • Partner with Reliability Platform team to enhance frontend monitoring, error reporting, and alerting
  • Foster a network of measurement experts across teams, championing performance and reliability best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in browser-based frontend telemetry, including real user monitoring (RUM) and error reporting systems
  • Experience designing and evolving scalable systems that surface actionable insights for engineers and senior leadership
  • Proven track record of mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance across multiple teams
  • Ability to drive strategic technical direction while maintaining strong implementation details
  • Confidence in leading technical presentations and discussions with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong experience in frontend development with modern JavaScript frameworks and browser APIs
  • History of leading company-wide technical rollouts or migrations to unified standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
