Remote across ANZ with our Sydney flagship campus as home base, you'll collaborate with innovative Engineering, Product, Partnerships, and Developer Success teams to create abundant app ecosystems and seamless 2P integrations with enterprise SaaS tools. In this role, you'll become the go-to expert for Canva's integration infrastructure, co-designing solutions with internal partners, defining robust system requirements, and crafting exceptional technical documentation that empowers our growing network of system integrators. You'll partner closely with product teams to influence roadmaps, build incident response processes for our third-party ecosystem, and support the Canva Apps SDK and Connect API. Key Responsibilities

• Become the go-to expert in Canva's infrastructure for system integrations, shaping the technical foundation of our 2P integrations
• Collaborate with internal developer partners across Systems Integrations, IT, and more to co-design solutions balancing user needs and platform capabilities
• Partner with product teams in the Ecosystem supergroup to understand the product landscape and influence roadmaps with technical insight
• Define robust system and interface requirements for Second-Party (2P) integrations, translating business goals into scalable technical solutions
• Craft clear technical documentation including reference architectures, best practices, white papers, and solution briefs
• Build and maintain incident response processes and documentation for apps in our third-party ecosystem
• Support system integrators working with Canva's infrastructure to foster ecosystem growth
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Partnerships, Account Executives, and Customer Success teams
• Leverage AI tools to enhance troubleshooting, documentation, and solution design processes
• Contribute to establishing Canva as the world's most extensible design platform

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in system engineering, system architecture, or equivalent technical role
• Firmly grounded in computer science and engineering fundamentals with experience developing web applications
• Hands-on experience managing cloud platform configurations, preferably in AWS
• Experience working with infrastructure for system integrations
• Experience in technical troubleshooting in an Enterprise SaaS environment
• Strong customer-focused attitude and professional demeanor
• Hands-on experience using AI in work to drive greater impact

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure or GCP cloud platforms
• Experience supporting third-party developer ecosystems
• Background in partnerships or developer success roles
• Familiarity with REST APIs and SDK development
• Experience in Enterprise SaaS integrations
