In this role, you'll own end-to-end recruitment for junior to mid-level positions, with a primary focus on China. From crafting targeted sourcing strategies on local platforms to orchestrating seamless interview experiences, you'll ensure every candidate feels the magic of Canva's design-first ethos. Partnering closely with hiring managers, you'll translate business needs into compelling candidate profiles while leveraging data insights to continuously refine our processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for junior to mid-level roles across tech, product, design, and business teams in China
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand role needs and craft compelling candidate profiles
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies leveraging local platforms, employee referrals, industry events, and social media
  • Orchestrate seamless interview processes including scheduling, feedback collection, and timely candidate communication
  • Ensure every candidate experiences Canva's inclusive, creative, and collaborative culture throughout the hiring journey
  • Collaborate with global and regional TA partners to share market insights and align on recruitment best practices
  • Analyze recruitment data and candidate feedback to recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Build and nurture talent pipelines for critical design, product, and tech roles in the CJKI region
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives that showcase Canva's innovative design-first approach
  • Support broader recruitment projects and initiatives across the People Team

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience, preferably in tech or product-led organisations
  • Good understanding of the China talent market, sourcing platforms, and candidate behaviours
  • Confident working independently on active roles, with support from senior TA partners when needed
  • Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience managing junior to mid-level hires across tech, product, and business functions
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with hiring managers to define role requirements
  • Track record of delivering high-quality candidate pipelines in competitive markets
