You'll manage end-to-end recruitment across engineering, product, design technology, and data roles, proactively sourcing top talent through innovative channels while delivering exceptional candidate experiences that embody Canva's delightful brand. Championing diversity and using data-driven insights, you'll build robust pipelines and collaborate with hiring managers to craft compelling stories that attract the best global tech talent to our Sydney HQ. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for Technology roles including engineering, product, design, and data teams
  • Proactively source passive candidates through creative channels and build diverse talent pipelines
  • Deliver world-class candidate experiences that reflect Canva's delightful brand
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand technical role requirements and craft compelling job stories
  • Champion Canva's employer brand through market storytelling and events
  • Leverage data analytics to measure recruitment effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with the Technology team to design inclusive, innovative hiring processes
  • Conduct interviews, assessments, and offer management for senior tech positions
  • Build relationships with tech communities, universities, and diversity networks
  • Contribute to recruitment strategy as Canva scales its global technology organisation

Required Qualifications

  • Experience running technology recruitment processes end-to-end for engineering, product, and design roles
  • Proven track record in proactively sourcing top tech talent across multiple channels including LinkedIn, GitHub, and tech communities
  • Demonstrated success in building diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines to meet scaling hiring needs
  • Strong understanding of technology roles including software engineering, data science, and product management
  • Experience delivering exceptional candidate experiences in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Proficiency in using recruitment data and analytics to optimize hiring outcomes
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for design technology roles or creative tech stacks
  • Familiarity with Australian tech talent market and APAC hiring dynamics
  • Advanced ATS experience (SmartRecruiters, Greenhouse, or similar)
  • Previous experience in a scale-up or hyper-growth tech company
