Capgemini is seeking a skilled API Testing Engineer to join their QA team, focusing on validating the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of APIs in microservices architectures. 🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive API test plans and test cases
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of REST and SOAP APIs
- Automate API tests using tools and frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, or Karate
- Validate request/response payloads, headers, status codes, and error handling
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand API specifications
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide detailed reports
- Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
- Ensure API security testing and compliance with standards
