📋 Job Overview
The DeltaV Engineer role at Capgemini involves designing, configuring, and supporting DeltaV DCS solutions for biopharma manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities include commissioning and qualification support, operational troubleshooting, and continuous system improvement. The position also encompasses team mentoring, client liaisoning, and development of technology competencies in a pharma automation context.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure DeltaV DCS solutions in compliance with project requirements and industry standards
- Support the commissioning and qualification (C&Q) phase of new drug substance facilities, ensuring successful integration and operation of critical control systems
- Provide operational and project support for PLC, DCS, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and ancillary data systems used to control and collect data for manufacturing operations
- Resolve software and automation-related issues during the C&Q phase and ensure smooth system integration
- Be accountable for system performance, continuous improvement, and large-scale innovation
- Mentor and Build team
- Client Liasoning
- Develop technology competency
- Showcase Solution & delivery capability to prospect customers
- Delivery accelerators development
- Consulting template & artifacts development
- Collaborate with other domain centric center of excellence for development of solution-based offerings
✅ Required Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with DeltaV control systems
- Proven track record in commissioning and qualification of biopharma plants
- Strong technical skills in automation design, troubleshooting, and supporting software systems
- Experience on DeltaV-MES interface, L2 integrations, report development
- Knowledge of ISA95/S88 standards and practical use in application design
- Knowledge of Pharma manufacturing
- Hands on Experience in Werum PAS-X Specification, Execution, Compliance & Performance Module Configuration, Customization, Installation, Upgrade, Development and Configuration
- Knowledge of GxP, GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISA S-88, S-95, GAMP, GXP compliance
