Capgemini is seeking a Digital Transformation Leader for the Retail/Grocery sector to drive growth and build capabilities in areas like demand planning, category management, and omni-commerce. The role involves serving as a subject matter expert on ERP solutions, preferably SAP, to co-innovate with partners and advise clients on implementing packaged solutions such as SAP, Blue Yonder, and Salesforce. Responsibilities include engaging clients to define solutions, roadmaps, and strategic capabilities while driving thought leadership, revenue growth, and ecosystem development.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth for Capgemini in the Grocery/Mass Merchandise industry sub-segments of Retail, building capabilities focused on Grocery industry sub-segment (demand planning, Category Management, assortment/space/price optimization, dynamic pricing, omni-commerce, last mile delivery, sustainability)
  • Collaborate with partners (internal and external) to co-innovate and co-develop solution designs and accelerators which solve industry problems
  • Advise clients in design and implementation of market-leading packaged solutions for Grocery/Retail (SAP, Blue Yonder, Salesforce, Oracle, Manhattan, Start-up ecosystem)
  • Engage with clients to understand requirements, scope and define solutions, explain business benefits, and develop roadmaps
  • Leverage business knowledge and packaged solution expertise to integrate technology into clients’ business environment
  • Identify strategic capabilities needed to create and sustain competitive advantage (process, information technology, organization enablement, or knowledge)
  • Drive revenue growth contribution to Industry/Group Market Strategy, support capability sales at target accounts, and deliver on projects as Executive Vision-maker, Solution Designer, and Subject Matter Specialist
  • Drive industry thought leadership, knowledge development and dissemination, anchor cross-pollination of assets, best practices, and cross-geography collaboration
  • Drive eco-system development externally (Alliances, Joint Solutioning, New Account Openings) and internally through go to market training and development
  • Leverage Cloud, Data Analytics, AI/ML for building innovative retail use cases and solving industry challenges

✅ Required Qualifications

  • Deep understanding and experience of more than 15 years in the Grocery/Retail Sector
  • Intimate knowledge of industry pain points and problems impacting the industry
  • Demonstrates knowledge of ERP/Packaged solutions with intimate understanding of key business modules
  • Must have implementation experience of leading packages for Retail/Grocery clients (SAP, Blue Yonder, Oracle, Manhattan, Salesforce)
  • Broad and global experience in core Retail functions like Merchandise/Assortment Planning, Supply Chain Execution, Store Operations, Omnichannel Commerce, Fulfilment Optimization, Last Mile Delivery, Industry 4.0
  • Solid understanding and relationships with key players (like CXOs) within the eco-system
  • Strong consulting orientation including ability to quickly comprehend business problems and articulate solutions in terms of business value
  • Agile Delivery mindset of converting POCs to assets
  • Involved in developing Thought Leadership papers
  • Proactive in understanding Global BU’s business needs and solution, position and refurbish CPR Accelerators and Assets
  • Ability to aide Sales and Conversion by leveraging Subject Matter Specialization to drive sales
