📋 Job Overview
The Financial Controller role at Capgemini involves delivering accurate financial insights as part of the Finance team, supporting management decisions, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Key duties include performing variance analysis, preparing P&L statements and KPIs, applying accrual accounting, handling revenue recognition, supporting system data uploads, and creating management dashboards. This position requires 12-18 years of experience in FP&A and finance controlling, based in Pune, India.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Perform actuals vs. forecast and budget variance analysis on costs with detailed breakdown; challenge actuals where necessary
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and KPI summaries, and analyze trends to provide actionable insights
- Apply accrual-based accounting principles, including matching principle and revenue/cost recognition
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition in financial statements in line with company policies and accounting standards
- Assist in data uploads from GFS to HFM and validate data integrity
- Utilize GFS and HFM functionalities and reports for financial consolidation and reporting
- Prepare various management dashboards and lead discussions with business leaders on dashboard insights
✅ Required Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 12 to 18 years of experience in FP&A and Finance Controlling
- Strong experience in financial reporting, variance analysis, and P&L management
- Hands-on experience with accrual accounting and revenue recognition principles

- CA certification
- CMA certification
- MBA in Finance
- MIS experience
