🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems
- Responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development, and maintenance
- Exercises original thought and judgement and supervises the technical and administrative work of other software engineers
- Builds skills and expertise in software engineering discipline to meet standard expectations
- Collaborates and acts as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders
- Works consistently to direction with minimal supervision, producing accurate and reliable results
- Works on a range of tasks and problems, demonstrating ability to apply skills and knowledge
- Organises own time to deliver against tasks set by others with a mid-term horizon
- Works co-operatively with others to achieve team goals and impacts project performance positively
- Makes decisions based on understanding of the situation

- Experience in functional safety concepts and design of safety products
- Experience in safety analysis: FMEA, FTA, FMEDA
- Good understanding of HARA
- Understanding of safety design mechanisms
- Confirmation reviews / audits
- Expert knowledge of ISO 26262 and IEC 61508
- Proven track record on development and implementation of safety concepts and safety analysis (FTA, FMEA, FMEDA, FTTI)
- Ability to create hazard assessment and risk analysis (HARA)
- More than one year of relevant work experience
