📋 Job Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer at Capgemini, you will develop cutting-edge web applications using Java full stack technologies with a focus on Angular for user-centric interfaces. The role involves architecting microservices, integrating databases and cloud services, and collaborating in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions. 🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Develop web applications using Java, JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, Node.js; Web technologies including HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, web servers like Apache & web services
- Use and design APIs using REST, XML, and JSON
- Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning
- Work closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives, stand-ups) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
✅ Required Qualifications
- 6-9 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and microservices/Hibernate with Angular
- Proficient in Java, Spring Boot Microservices/Hibernate, Angular and related technologies
- Knowledge of Relational Database (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational database (any of Cassandra, Couch DB, Mongo DB, H-Base)
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience of Programming concepts: OOPS, Design principles and patterns, Architecture, TDD, automation, best practices
- Experience in Cloud environment - AWS, GCP, Azure
- SC Security Clearance required
