📋 Job Overview
Capgemini is seeking a Java Fullstack Developer with React expertise for software engineering roles focused on developing and maintaining high-quality applications. 🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Develop software using Java, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js), Web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery), web servers like Apache, and web services
- Design and use APIs using REST, XML, and JSON
- Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning
- Work closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives, stand-ups) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Apply scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems
- Engage in research, design, development, and maintenance of software solutions
- Exercise original thought and judgement, and supervise technical and administrative work of other software engineers
- Collaborate as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders
✅ Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and microservices/Hibernate with React
- Proficient in Java, Spring Boot Microservices/Hibernate, React and related technologies
- Familiarity with API management and documentation tools
- Knowledge of Relational Database (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational database (any of Cassandra, Couch DB, Mongo DB, H-Base) experience
- Deep understanding and hands on experience of Programming concepts: OOPS, Design principles and patterns, Architecture, TDD, automation, best practices, etc
- Experience on Elastic Search, Kafka, Redis, Docker
- Experience in Cloud environment - AWS, GCP, Azure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
