📋 Job Overview
The Lead Quality Engineer (QSV) role at Capgemini Engineering focuses on software quality assurance and management for eDrive projects across India and Germany, ensuring compliance for global product type approval. The position involves deploying processes aligned with ASPICE standards, conducting audits, and enhancing end-to-end software quality while collaborating with project teams and suppliers. As a leader, you will interface with clients, create test plans, and mentor the team to achieve targets in time, cost, and quality.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Understand project scope/business and existing process methodology and enhance Product Quality by defining and executing Quality Plan/deploying processes in accordance with organizational QMS and ASPICE standards
- Ensure Process Compliance and deploy best practices across projects
- Contribution to Product Quality Assurance through hands-on Work product reviews, Static Code / Test Coverage analysis, pre-delivery checks etc.
- Perform assessments/audits and Software Maturity reviews
- Manage, execute and track quality activities (including Release Management) in projects to achieve targets for time, cost and quality
- Responsible for supplier SW Quality as applicable
- Create and implement test plan for end-to-end testing
- Coach and mentor the team while building strong relationships with the client
✅ Required Qualifications
- Exposure to Quality Management practices supporting embedded system (software) projects
- Exposure to Product development or ECU/System development
- Understanding of Automotive SPICE or any other equivalent quality standard and implementation experience
- Supplier Quality experience
- Good communication and people management skills
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- ASPICE Certified Assessor
- Internal auditor / assessor for ISO 9001:2015 or ASPICE HIS Audit
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standard & IATF16949
